Return Policy & Process
What is your return policy?:
We want to make sure we're putting people in the best possible running gear for them! If your purchase doesn't perform as expected you may return it, in new sellable condition including all of the original packaging, within 14 days with receipt for a refund.
You may bring a purchase back, in NEW sellable condition including ALL of the original packaging (this includes shoe boxes), for exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase.
If a purchase is a special order from a vendor the order may only be exchanged or returned for store credit. However, if your special order is something that we do NOT carry in-store it is a final sale and is NOT eligible for return or exchange.
Items with a Gift Receipt will receive a refund in the form of Store Credit (Our return policy doesn’t cover ordinary wear & tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents). GPS watches, massage devices and other electronics will have a $40 restocking fee if opened.
A customer returning the same item multiple (2+) times or exchanging shoes from the same original purchase multiple (2+) times may incur a restocking fee of 15%.
FOR ALL ONLINE PURCHASES:
We will send you a return shipping label for your return. If you received free shipping of the product on your purchase, you will need to pay for the return shipping to us. We will deduct the cost of return shipping ($8-$10) from your return. For example: If you ordered a pair of shoes for $140 and return them, you will receive a refund of $130-$132 depending on the cost of return shipping.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL marked down shoes purchased online are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This is any item that is discounted by MORE THAN 20%. Items that have coupon codes or discounts of 20% or less ARE refundable.
Lastly, all shipments from Commonwealth Running Company are insured. If a package doesn't reach you please contact us and we will have our shippers investigate. If a purchase is delivered to the address and then is missing Commonwealth Running Company does not take responsibility for the missing package.
Commonwealth Running Company reserves the right to adjust the policy at any time.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange of an Online Purchase:
First, please make sure you have all of the original packaging- this includes tags and boxes. All returning items MUST be in new and sellable condition or the refund may be rejected. If you have worn something outside or other than simply trying it on indoors please check with us first at firstname.lastname@example.org before returning it to us.
If an item is shipped back to us and is not in new condition you will be charged a restocking fee of up to 50% depending on the condition of the item and whether we need to donate it. As long as a purchased item is shipped back to us in new condition with original packaging we will issue a full refund (minus return shipping if applicable).
Please note, per our return policy, if you received free shipping on your item your return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount. The return shipping charge is $8-10 depending on where the return is being shipped from. The return deduction amount will NOT exceed $10.
Pack your item into the mailing package that we sent or another secure box or mailing bag. Shoe boxes CANNOT be shipped without being inside some sort of bag or box. Commonwealth Running Company reserves the right to deny refunds of items that do not adhere to our return policy.
