Frequently asked questions
Is the Mach X 3 a neutral shoe?
Yes. The Mach X 3 is a neutral, high-cushion road shoe with a 5mm heel-to-toe drop.
Who is the Mach X 3 best for?
Neutral runners who want a plated shoe for tempo work and racing. It runs on a dual PEBA midsole, a 42 mm heel stack, a Pebax plate and a 5 mm drop. It is built for race day rather than everyday mileage.
How does the Mach X 3 fit?
True to size for most runners, in a standard (D/B) medium width. If between sizes or wider-footed, consider a half size up.
What are the key specs of the Mach X 3?
Heel-to-toe drop 5mm; stack 42/38mm; weight about 8.53oz (242g), men's; high cushion; neutral support.
What surface is the Mach X 3 best for?
Primarily road, suited to tempo work and racing.
Does the Mach X 3 have a plate?
Yes. A Pebax plate sits between dual PEBA foam layers. It is a plated tempo trainer rather than a race shoe: more forgiving and more durable than a carbon racer, but with the snap for workouts.
